Safety training, particularly fire safety training, is subject to regulatory requirements imposed by French law. A digital safety register makes it easy to manage and track these requirements.
Safety training: legal obligations
Staff safety training is a legal requirement, regardless of the nature or operation of the facility: ERT (Workplace), ERP (Public Access Building), or IGH (High-Rise Building).
The Labor Code requires every employer to implement the necessary measures for the safety and protection of workers, as stipulated in Article L4121-1 of the Labor Code. In this regard, " safety training contributes to the prevention of occupational risks" (Art. R4141-1 of the Labor Code) and "constitutes one of the elements of the annual occupational risk prevention program provided for in point 2 of Article L. 4612-16" which must be presented by the employer to the health, safety, and working conditions committee, as provided for in Article L4612-16 of the Labor Code.
Under the Construction and Housing Code (CCH), operators and owners of public access buildings (ERP) and high-rise buildings (IGH) must comply with the prevention and safety measures required to ensure the safety of individuals (Article R*143-3 of the CCH).
The obligation for staff training and qualification meets not only the requirements defined by the Labor Code, but more specifically, Article MS 48 of the Order of June 25, 1980, as amended by the Order of February 21, 1995, approving the general provisions of the fire and panic safety regulations for public access buildings (ERP).

- Fire and evacuation EPI training (First Intervention Team)
